Mainly used for sealing belt edges to prevent oil, fat, water and other substances (even bacteria) from penetrating the belt. This sealing procedure is particularly important in the food industry, where hygiene is a basic requirement.
Rectangular profile shaped to close the edges of PVC conveyor and processing belts. The belt should have at least two fabric layers and a minimum thickness of 1.3 mm.
The profile strips are applied using a special hot air welding process.
